Cricket Care & Breeding

Care

Crickets can be kept in critter keepers with oats or bran as a medium and either empty egg cartons or newspaper can be used for them to climb on, it will also need to be well ventilated. They can be gut loaded using dog food, oats, bran, fruit and vegetables. Feeding vegetables is critical in keeping your crickets alive as they quickly dry out and die. But caution must be taken when feeding fruit such as oranges as it contains alot of vitamin C. Crickets if not fed properly will begin to get hungry FAST and will start to dine on one another which is very unhealthy for your Gecko!

Breeding
